FEATURES
  • 12 FEET OF REACH to allow the operator to grab logs behind stumps, over obstacles, uphill and downhill.
  • BOOM SWINGS 140° to pick up logs on either side of the skidder with less maneuvering. Ideal for thinning operations.
  • OVER 8 FEET OF ABOVE GROUND to build higher decks.
  • INTEGRAL FAIRLEAD permits winching logs to the skidder in rough terrain.

  • HEAVY DUTY RACK AND PIN ON SWING DRIVE...with hardened gears, is located ahead of the boom for greater protection
  • TOWER AND SPINDLE had added strength to absorb the strain of swinging big loads. Two 4 1/2 I.D. ball bushings provide a large bearing area.

  • HYDRAULIC GRAPPLE DAMPENER controls violent swings on emptry runs to reduce boom and grapple damage. One shot from a grease gun changes dampener for several days.
  • GRAPPLE OPEN TO 82" and rotates 280° to gather loads lying at any angle
  • WELL GUARDED GRAPPLE CYLINDERS feature 1/2" walls and large diameter rods with guards for maximum protection.
  • ROTATION HOUSING. Strong fabrication to prevent cracking and equipped with two sets of Temken tapered roller bearings.
  • LARGE DIAMETER, INDUCTION HARDENED PINS and bushings used throughout the boom and grapple for greater resistance to wear. Main boom and stick pins are sealed to retain grease and exclude dirt.
