A combination of horizontal and vertical reach allows keeping the load closer for maximum stability. The arch extends towards the load, then retracts as the load is picked up, lifting the butts over the rear deck, closer to the center of gravity. This eliminated but dozing and aids in balancing the weight distribution which results in better traction, higher speeds, greater productivity, and consistent low ground pressure.
